Criminal Background Check
We request a Police Character Certificate from the candidate's local police station — Pakistan's formal criminal record verification mechanism. This is a mandatory step for every candidate regardless of seniority.
Degree & Qualification Verification
We contact universities and professional bodies (HEC, Educational Boards, ACCA, ICAP, ICAEW) directly to verify claimed qualifications. We eliminate this risk of fake degrees before it reaches your desk.
Recorded English Fluency Assessment
Every candidate completes a structured video interview assessed by a second Annex Talent reviewer against a defined rubric. We assess both written and spoken English — not just conversational ability.
Live Technical Assessment
Role-specific practical test: accountants complete a live bookkeeping exercise in Xero or QuickBooks; developers complete a timed coding challenge; operations candidates complete a data exercise. Assessed against defined pass criteria.
